Community Illumination Benefit a Big Success!

Come On, Come Ons–Kc, Roman, Bill and Dave WOOSTER, you blew me away along with your generosity of time and enthusiasm , Paper Circle artists, Kyla, Barb Campagnola, Barbara Erie, Ashley- thanks for working with us on this collaboration and being there tonight, Athens Dance Collective- Elizabeth, Gwen and Kelly- your beauty , grace and soulfulness of the evening really made a difference and helped to make Voices of Poetry come alive ! I love you ladies! To Central Venue – your space is amazing! Thanks for sharing with the GP and our community!

Boogie on the (Wet!) Bricks!

The Come On Come Ons second show went off without a hitch thanks to the good folks at Boogie on the Bricks, Judy Palmer, Tom Potter, Bob Dewey, Robin Barnes, and all the fans. The minute our set ended the skies opened up and it rained like nobody’s business. We were happy to get our set in and our gear out. =)

In addition to our set we debuted a new song, Elvis’ “I’ll Be Back” which was a  lot of fun. We’ll see you at the next gig!

Our First Show

winerylogo1The Come On Come Ons appeared at the Shade Winery on Saturday, May 9, 2015 for our very first appearance in front of scores of family and friends. The sun was shining (hot!) and everyone seemed to have a very enjoyable time.

Thanks to Neal and Oui for inviting us into their amazing winery.

We appreciate the visit by Eric McFadden who was snapping fantastic photos, and Brant & T-Bone from “Sounds Great” for doing sound.

We cracked the seal on the band with some neat songs including two originals (Breeze, Soccer Mon) some Clash (Jimmy Jazz,) a Phish song (If I Could) and KC of course blew the doors off the place with “Hurt.”

The Come On Come Ons are a classy rock outfit based out of Athens, Ohio. This brand new band employs a smooth, jazzy sound that is infectious to dance too, and gets better with every listen.

The band members include:

– K.C. Waltz, Vocals (Voodoo Birds, Johnny & the Kitty Box)
– Dave Wooster, Guitar, Vocals (Leave Corp.)
– Roman Warmke, Bass, Vocals (Voodoo Birds, The Royales)
– Bill Rawlins, Drums (Broken Ring, Keesey Band)

The band is excited to debut on May 9, 2015 and hopes you will enjoy the new sound.
